Sussex Beekeepers’ Association AGM – 2024

AGM is starting at 2pm. Doors open at 1pm for Asian hornet traps and there will be microscopes to look at.
There will be a prize for the best Asian hornet trap.
Dan Morgan will talk about tracing the Asian hornet nest in Eastbourne. Afterwards there will be the judging of the traps and a discussion of the best traps and bait. We also will be tasting (I hope) mead and metheglin. Also we will be using the dissection microscope and dissecting some Asian hornets.
It would be extremely helpful if you can indicate whether you intend to attend and whether you might be providing an Asian Hornet Trap entry (N.B. you can enter on the day, but it would help if you can indicate ahead of time).
