We are combining training in 2024 for beginners and existing members.

The beginners will have an initial session to introduce them to the world of beekeeping on Sunday February 18th and then will join the general session on Saturday April 13th for an introduction to live bees and handling them.

The cost of training for beginners is £100 which includes membership of the association until September, borrowing a bee suit on April 13th if you do not already have one and - for those who become certain that this hobby is for them - either the purchase of bees from a member of the Association or the chance to become involved in splitting a colony and purchasing those bees once the new Queen has started laying and one can ascertain what the brood pattern is like.
