The enthusiasm and knowledge of the course tutor and the other existing members of HWBKA has certainly rubbed off on me and I am thoroughly enjoying keeping bees.

For various reasons I did not get bees until late in the season so have missed out  somewhat but am making up for it now, and I would recommend to anyone who is planning to do this course to get bees early on.

I was concerned that I would not have the time to be a bee keeper but it is very easy to fit round things as most planned activities do not take long and your enthusiasm will make you make time when things have to be done urgently (which isn't that often)

Finally a big thank-you to Malcolm for running the course and making it such fun and to the other people on the course who are a great bunch.  Thank-you!
