Now the bee keeping season has nearly come to an end.
Time to think ahead to next year.

Having given about 100 ‘Gardening for Bees’ talks round the South East, Mick Lynn decided to adapt it for beekeepers, so here it is1
Beekeepers who are gardeners become more enthusiastic when trying to understand the difference in value of particular flowers to the honey bee, usually field crops and wild flowers. However suburban and urban areas can provide a large proportion of plants from which bees obtain nectar.
So now is the time to start thinking of plants in your garden to help your bees.
