A Talk From Helen Hadley via ZOOM

Here is a great talk and demo just in time to sort out those Christmas present blues.
Helen Hadley is kindly going to share her knowledge and demonstrate some of the most interesting creations of hers.
There is also a shopping list for those who would want to follow Helen in real time whilst she is giving the demonstration over the ZOOM.

DEMONSTRATION:
- Crunchy honey mustard
- Waxeline (natural substitute for Vaseline) great for lubricating movable hive parts like frame runners, helps with easy smooth hive manipulation.
- Beauty balm (can be used as cleanser or moisturiser for face and hands)
- A Christmas treat for the bees, sugar cakes.
SHOPPING LIST FOR THE DEMO :
- Crunchy mustard with honey
50g white mustard seed
50g black mustard seed
150ml white wine vinegar ( or cider vinegar or red wine vinegar)
3 level tsp clear honey
1/4 tsp sea salt
1.4 tsp ground cinnamon (optional)
Grated clove of garlic (optional)Put mustard seeds and vinegar in bowl to soak 36 hours.
I glass jar. - Something for your bees, sugar cakes
5 kilo granulated sugar
250ml Apple cider vinegar
1/2 tsp citric acid
Lemon grass essential oil
Foiled containers - Waxeline
20g beeswax
80g rapeseed oil
Glass or aluminium pot - Beauty Balm
2 tbsp argon oil
2 tbsp rosehip seed oil
2 tbsp Shea nut butter
1tbsp beeswax
5 drops cypress essential oil
5 drops frankincense. Essential oil
5 drops bergamot essential oil.
1 glass or aluminium pot.
